How uncivilized to take a gentlemen down in the street because he wanted to ask a question of an elected politician. Shame on them!

What rational politician would overtly advocate for folks whose first action was the criminally illegal entry into the United States https://torrancestephensphd.substack.com/p/from-al-green-to-alex-padilla

Can someone explain why the fbi agent and Natl Guardsman with Senator Padilla did not push back and defend as they are, by assumption, tasked to do?

I certainly cannot. Perhaps they were interceding in the background. A physical confrontation between federal law enforcement personnel and military over Senator Padilla would certainly have added to the already bad world wide optics but could have escalated things and endangered more lives.

By "push back" i did not mean literally. I should've been more specific. My bad. I am asking why the men accompanying him, in official capacity, did not identify themselves and announce he was a senator, and ask them to stand down? Or something else appropriate to their roles. Since this admin has employed various criminals as ICE agents for example, just who were the personnel who threw the senator down? Did they not see him come in ten minutes prior? Wouldnt that be their job? Everyone in that room, except Noem apparently, knew who the California senator was. Who were these rough men not following what i would assume be protocol toward anyone in that room?

Rhetorically speaking. I am not asking if you know.

My apologies for not communicating earlier as clearly as i might what my question is.

Sorry I have no further facts. I hope an investigation will answer your questions and more for the American people.
